Baptism is a public declaration of faith and an outward expression of an inward transformation that has taken place through Jesus Christ. It symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

At Journey Church, we believe baptism is an important next step after salvation and is an act of obedience to Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19. While baptism does not save you, it is a powerful testimony of a changed life and a commitment to follow Christ.
